Headshots play a crucial role in serving as a professional representation of yourself and your unique identity. A well-crafted headshot can make a significant impact. I aim to capture your personality, professionalism, and approachability, while also showcasing your unique features and expressions. Taking into account crucial elements like lighting, background, and wardrobe is essential, and I would be more than happy to lend my expertise in guiding you through these decisions. If you’re unsure whether a headshot is worth the effort or not certain about the style you want, check out my blog page Why is a professional headshot so important? for some guidance.
With the flexibility to accommodate both home office studio sessions and on-location photography, you can choose the setting that suits you best. Equipped with professional studio photography equipment including an off camera lighting set-up and soft boxes, I’m flexible to travel to an agreed location for your session. If you would rather visit my home studio in person, it’s situated in Carrum Downs, VIC.
Location may include the comfort of your own home. Suggestions might be front of a plain wall, beside a big window, at a home office or in the garden. If you don’t have a suitable private space, I can also recommend some great outdoor locations. This may include a local park, or an urban area. Alternatively I offer a home studio set-up if you would prefer a plain or white backdrop. I’m happy to work with you for a headshot that suits your preferences.
You may already have a style guide to adhere too, or you may want to try a few different outfits and poses on the day and see what works.
I’ll give you the option to select your own final image from the session. You have the option for your final selection to be professionally retouched. The retouching process is tailored to your personal preference whilst keeping the portrait looking natural and genuine. Refer here to see an example of my retouching.
